Yalda you did incredibly well to bring stories of horrors risking your life indeed. I have every appreciation for you being so young and full of life still ventured to such highly horrendous tasks of dire risks. However, one thing could not be clear from your detailed presentation as to what caused American military man to go and kill 16 Afghan civilians by shooting and what fate of justice he ultimately met in his country for this mayhem. It is also strange that on his committing such a heinous crime with undeniable proofs, how a lawyer was available to defend such an evil and where was his conscience. Was not this terrorism dear lady?

This gem, Yalda Hakim used to be a presenter of a very good ABC. Australian investigative journalism program and I thought she was great! Unfortunately, she fell foul when she wrongfully accused USA or Aust. forces of murdering Afghans. She is a great journalist/presenter and it's sad that she was lied to by the Afghan family that she had based her story on or was this all a cover-up by the USA-AU. I don't know. I think her sacking from the ABC. may have been politically motivated and was a great loss for Australian journalism. Love you Yalda 🤗 Ans. to her first Q. is so much miss-information and propaganda coming not only from right wing extremists but also from China, Nth Korea and esp. Russia over the last 20 yrs. on social media, they have been waging war against the west for at least 20ys and we have done little to counter it, so now we have millions who believe in things even where there is little evidence to support their ideas!

All she’ll ever be is a a reporter/presenter, unable to make changes to environmental issues, some of the issues raised, I’m sure were on other BBCWS programmes... Focus on Africa for example, think that Impact was mearly a talking point covered also by Outside Source with Ross Atkins, non the less, Impact was informative and important, but might be a drain on the licence fee payers in the UK.
