@GsnakeКүн бұрын
He's not necessarily wrong. I'm not saying it helped the low wage workers the most but it did help quite a bit. I can speak to my job in saying that my work increased the starting wage three times during Trumps presidency. There were so many jobs because of he was doing to keep companies here in the states they had to increase the starting wage just to try and get people to apply to my company and compete with other similar companies and what they started paying. The people that were there already also got an adjustment in the hourly rate as well because they didn't want people getting hired off the streets coming in making close to what people were making that had been there for some years. I also know for a fact from family and friends that other companies were doing similar things.

So when a Yale professor is put on TV to justify an opinion; instead of using her research she quotes other people’s research? Isn’t that group think at it’s worse?

surprised at the lack of logic and bias from this Yale proffessor, the best economies around the world have proven that corporate tax cuts overall build wealth in that country: case in point Singapore and Dubai, super low corporate tax to encourage businesses to setup and stay there, meaning more and better jobs... you play the long game and reap the benefits later

@@real-ishstraighttruthnocha1687 He's only ever really lowered taxes on corps (in fact the 20% tariffs will only raise cost of living for the population as a whole), they both want to eliminate tax on tips, and his O.T. rule will make it harder to get the extra pay. He didn't cut spending and raised the debt with the tax cuts for the wealthy, wants to give Isreal more money for foreign wars. Biden deported more than Trump by both percentage and actual numbers, plus it's has never been, or is possible to "seal" the border. The United States is a low-tax country Compared with other nations in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the United States ranks 32nd out of 38 in revenue as a percentage of GDP.20 But it’s not just that the United States is near the bottom end of revenue; it is nowhere close even to the average. Over the CBO’s 10-year budget window, the United States will collect $26 trillion less in revenues than it would if its revenue as a percentage of GDP were as high as the average OECD nation. When compared to EU nations, that number rises to $36 trillion. (see Figure 2) In contrast, the $289 billion projected revenue increase in the Inflation Reduction Act21 still leaves the United States ranking 32nd out of 38 OECD countries.
