But I think its better to wait for the Honda pcx 160. 15.8ps power, 15.2 nm torque, 8.1 liter fuel capacity, 30litre storage under seat(more than Yamaha), all this better than the yamaha, fuel filling same as the aerox .longer service intervals. Ex show room roughly 1.15 to 1.20 lacs.Plus Honda refinement and reliability. Also it will be liquid cooled.

I did a test drive for Areox 155 and Aprilia 160. Areox was super cool, stable, powerful, nice seating position and suspension. Since there is only 10k diffence I feel Yamaha Areox is much powerful and better than Aprilia. I feel Access is king of 125scooters and Aerox is king of 155 scooters. I liked Aprilia also but the sitting position was a drawback.

I own both of em and cant really agree with you reg the braking performace of Aerox. Aerox has rubber hose and single piston caliper whereas SXR 160 has steel braided pipes n dual piston caliper. In terms of shear bite n brake force, SXR 160 is way ahead. Bled the Aerox with LM Racing fluid which increased braking perf marginally at best.

@@TheMotorman1981 Depends on what your are looking for: 1. If roads are good, Aerox can maintain good speed and you can cover distance quicker. Bad roada however will result in a not so good ride quality. 2. If you are riding with a pillion, the SXR makes more sense as it has very good pillion comfort. 3. If you are planning to carry substantial luggage, SXR would provide more space. 4. I have found the Aerox to provide better FE under all circumstances.

@@shuvadeepd what If the roads are bad? Then aerox or the ap160? Also I think on the Aerox one can upgrade to monoshock on the rear. Aprilia rear suspension is comfy?

@@kristrails07 Yamaha has not released the gas charged KYB shocks for the rear and its not mono shock. Strictly suspension wise, SXR is better. Test ride both over bad roads and check.

Don't buy this aprilia scooter if you stays in vasai virar nallasopara naigoan and palghar area because their is no service centre for this aprilia brands scooter in this areas you will have to go to miraroad or goregaon for servicing of your scooter which is very very far

Basically Aerox is neither a scooter not a bike . it can be called a scobike. A mixture of scooter and bike . In India Very difficult to explain people.So people call it Scooty I am ok with it if someone calls it bike I am ok with it. In reality it's neither of the two .
