Best bolt salesman ever right here. I’ve been back and forth on switching from sport bikes to the bolt or a sportster for a couple years now. My biggest fear has been the performance or lack there of from a cruiser. This completely eliminates the doubts I had. Thank you sir for the video and you earned a subscriber.

Had a guy with a Harley Sportster who used to ride with my group in the NM mountains and he hung in there just fine. I've owned only sportbikes for the last 32 years. I 2020 since I hit my 50's I finally went with an old man's sport bike, an FZ1. I've been wanting to add a sporty cruiser and been debating the Vulcan with an i4 or Bolt but I like the Bolt the best. Suspension plans are Ohlins STX36 shocks and a Andreani fork cartridge kit. It will see at least one trackday to get the suspension dialed in.

Best bolt vid ive ever watched! did u raise the pegs somehow ?? find mine scrape with hardly any lean stock
@TheDeftCursor3 жыл бұрын
You can actually hear him scraping a lot (not his fault, just the way the bolt is), but if you get some 11.5” or 12” shocks it pretty much takes the scraping away unless you’re trying to put your knee down. I put some 11.5s on mine and haven’t scraped since
@califliprider4493 жыл бұрын
Nope stock pegs. Scrapes at barely any lean haha

@@TheDeftCursor what is the factory shock height? Not really trying to take away from the awesome stance the bolt has but also dont want to be scrapping at every other turn
@TheDeftCursor3 жыл бұрын
@@simplybuilt_1708 it’s 10.5” I believe, when you put 11.5 or 12.5” the bike still looks great, even better imo. Plus all the added benefits

If I were to get a cruiser it would probably be a Bolt. Big thing I like about them, mid pegs. Seems like every cruiser out there today has the silly forward control crap. Forward controls rob you of half (or more) of your ability to control the bike, and every bike I've ridden with them, I hated. Some fine riding there! Keep it up, and stay up..🙂
@bosslouel332 жыл бұрын
Harley definitely has mid controls on most bikes. Sportster 883, roadster, 1200, Street Bob
