when using the sequencer in the mode where its pitch is altered by the keyboard you can prevent this happening by depressing the big red hold button on the sequencer, the key volt signal from the keyboard will not then modify the sequencer pitch until you release the hold button. great for playing a melody line without it affecting the sequencer pitches but then the sequencer will move to the key of the last note of your melody line (when you release the hold button) and you can hold it again to play a melody line that suits the new key of the sequence and so on. A great 'performance feature'

well actually ANY 'analogue' synthesizer can be considered a 'modular synthesizer that's been normalized' as you put it .... but then that would make it NON modular ... :)

Thank you for presentation! But can't reach MOOG in terms of sound unfortunately - too much sterile and flat.

Being an owner of a Minimoog, a Moog Voyager and a CS30, i can reassure you that in terms of purity of tone and clarity of signal not only it can reach Moog, but it can easily surpass it. Perhaps Moog has a heavier sound, but what the CS30 can do sound-design wise is simply out of reach of most other synths. A truly amazing, mind-blowing and experimental machine. The video above is not recorded in the highest quality nor does it actually present all the capabilities of the synth.
