why'd you put the air box back on if you fitted a pod filter?

Purely a cosmetic idea, I wanted more of a stock look🙂 but it will most likely help keep some extra dirt away from the filter.

I have a question im bussy with my yamaha dt 50 r and having some problems with the exautst what is that rubber thing that you put betweet the exaust port and the exaust at 13:32?

Hi, it’s a black coloured metal spacer not rubber, and it makes the diameter of the exhaust fit the cylinder, or there would be a gap, there’s also a small o-ring that goes into the cylinder just before and sits inside the cylinder too, I’m sure I you can buy the parts separately from somewhere like maxiscoot.com 🙂

the rubber thing u are putting on at 10:12, is it a type of chain guide? and is it important to have on or can i run it without

Hi, it’s just a chain guide, and it helps guide the chain onto the sprockets and reduce the risk of the chain coming off whilst riding. I suppose you could use the bike for some light riding without one fitted and a slightly more tightened chain to be safe. I probably wouldn’t recommend it though as the bike was designed to have one and I don’t think they are too expensive anyway🙂 It’s more to do with the suspension travel and chain slack, hence most dirt bikes are fitted with an under swing arm type guide as opposed to a sports bike that aren’t fitted with them because the travel in the suspension isn’t as great.
