I love this app. As if an electronic drumkit wasn't fun enough already, you can record yourself playing with just a phone. (I wish i could load songs directly from YT Music, but still awesome app)

Thanks for posting this. I just got my kit today, and the manual is a little light on details. I'm using a DTX Pro. Should I be plugging into "To Device" or "To Host"? Seems like it should be device, but I've seen other sites say it should To Host.

Thanks for the example but with all of that said, were do I connect my phone ? and how is it able so sync my drum playing and the video ? Please help. Thank you.

Please help yamaha. When I follow this exact example, it connects dtx module I can play the song, click and I hear myself in the headphones BUT as soon as I press record it shows me this message that I need to use proper yamaha equipment and redirects me to yamaha website where another 4 completely useless apps for playing backtracks. (Which non of works with dtx8 btw) Why doesn't rec'n'share work, or what am I doing wrong?

Please provide a solution, after updating to rec n share version 2.0.0 the video recording results are destroyed, both the drum sound and the delay. dtx module 402 Does anyone else have the same experience? Is there a solution other than going back to the previous version. With the risk that the old version of the recording will be automatically upgraded to version 2.0.0 as a result it can't be read again by the old version (1.3.1)

So do I connect to the module usb-c to 3.5mm or do I need to go from the back of the module ?? Does this app work with android phones finally?? ..what sort of 'how to' video is this,..

@@garylavelle5182 Hi, the most square looking input on the back of the module connect directly to your phone/tablet. Sorry I forgot what was the name of that in/out maybe some sort of midi, got the same on the back of keyboard. Its the only square one anyway.
