Yamaha DVD-E600 repair

A defect IC motor driver was changed long time ago and this motor will not spin up the CD. What can I do if the motor has only a low resistance from 1ohm? Yes we must build in a old motor from a other drive and see what's happened. Please subscribe and Thank you for watching! weakbit

I get this used motor from a Yamaha DVD-E700 - I measure ca. 30 - 40ohm. The defect motor (has 1ohm) that killed the motor-driver IC BA5954.

Hello - you can download a service-manual from here: elektrotanya.com/yamaha_dvd-e600_[rdx-e600].pdf/download.html#dl First disconnecting it from the mains plug. The drive must be disassembled and I think there is a little belt that must be replaced.
