Great video. I noticed that the main EAD sensor/trigger picked up all your kick triggers perfectly. Mine doesn't work properly and you have to hit really hard for it to register. It's a common problem with a lot of other people in the EAD10 facebook groups. How do you go about it? Settings wise, or anything else that needs to be done?
@babaloop7 ай бұрын
I’m really not too sure about that. I’ve never had that issue before. Nobody ever mentioned anything about putting the module on the side of the bass drum instead of right on top of it so maybe that has something to do with it. I really don’t know.

I have drum kit but I'm terrible at tuning if I put this Yamaha ead10 on does it matter if my tuning is bad or no?

It sort of does because you can hear a hybrid of both drums. Try watching my tuning video. Maybe that will help. It will make your drums sound better no matter what.

I've had an EAD10 for 2 years now...use it on live small club gigs and works great instead of setting up multiple mikes. I use my own speaker so I don't interfere with vocals & know what sound I'll be getting every gig. As far as tuning I would recommend a Tune-bot. Like anything it took some fiddling around with but it was a game changer for me. Could never quite get rid of those dissonant "waves" but after spending a day tuning with the Tune-bot my drums never sounded so good.

Im assuming you’re talking for live gigs? So, you put the Yamaha through a small mixer, maybe have the floor monitor XLR go to another channel for the rest of the band, and plug your in ears into the mixer? You don’t hear bleed into the Yamaha mic from the sound on stage? This is what a few friends told was happening to them? Is this the setup you use?
