Yes indeed well done Kerry, it's Don here from Hamilton NZ, I had a friend who brought around his guitar to me today,the exact same model in your video ( Yamaha FG 800) and I changed out the Yamaha nut/saddĺe for bone, and oh yes What a Difference, kind regards Don 😊😊😊

I like the sound a lot better with the hardwood pegs and bone saddle. Just seems cleaner to my ears.

Wow that does sound better. Nice, man. I was thinking the pegs might make the sound kinda dull. I installed ebony pegs once on a guitar and it took some volume away.

Why do musicians prefer the bone saddle and nut over the stock ones ? Does it sound better or does it laster longer ?

Same fg800 but a bit shorter scale lenght... I recommend the fg820 with better strings you won't need upgrades for not much more $
