Yamaha FZ-07 with Amazon Exhaust - Worth it? (Anodized Racing)

I never got a chance to make an installation video, but I felt like a review was better anyway. These exhausts sometimes go by anodized racing and can also be found on ebay. COVID-19 may have caused some issues with it being in stock on Amazon.com, but hopefully they start carrying them again.

I saw that gold piece placed in the bolt for the attachment of the pipe, it should be inside the rubber grommet included.

Doesn't the stock ecu retune itself? The fz-07 has a 02 sensor. As you are riding the computer readjust the amount of fuel and air. If your riding at full throttle all the time then yeah by all means get a tune. The only time the ECU reads directly from the map is when it is in open loop...a cold start, or WOT. You need to retune when changing the airflow aka modifications to airbox. All my opinion but also due to experienced mechanics ;)

I believe the ECU will tune itself within certain limits (elevation gain). When I ran the pipe for the day without my tune, I had bad decel popping. The pipe sounds good, but there are performance gains with the pipe and snorkel removal, so might as well take advantage with the tune.

I'm thinking about getting this exhaust. I saw a review where someone said that because of the angle of the exhaust it left residue swing arm and other components. Have you found this to be true?

I had someone else answer but I definitely appreciate even more feedback. I have it I'm still in the break in 600 miles on my bike. I just want an expert to tell me whether to slap that bad boi on now or wait until the initial inspection

@@MexicanosChingonesOfficial the mt07 already comes a little lean from the factory and with a full exhaust you probably could but definitely shouldn't ride it without a tune. It creates more heat and puts more stress on the engine. and it probably loses some hp.

Loud pipes save lifes bro be glad its lou i have one myself and if cars drivers dont see u a quick rev bomb with this exhaust installed they see and hear you i love the exhaust sound very good quality for the price dont need to do anything else to the ecu or any other part of the engine or fueling simple plug in and play with this exhaust

There won’t be any gains unless you tune the bike as well. You’re looking at 3-4 HP after that I believe. Don’t quote me on that.

with the lambda sensor it should adjust its feul so its always safe to ride yes you can get a little more power and response tuning it but like i said it should be safe to ride without a tune

Hey does this exhaust from stock help with the throttle response? I find my stock fz07 is very jolty on/off the throttle even with a tune. 2wdw is recommending an exhaust to help back pressure. Dod you notice a smoother throttle response with this?

Not really. The tune is what smoothed my throttle out the most. I dont think you'll notice much by adding the exhaust.

I bought an ebay aftermarket for my MT and after riding for 2 weeks I had to put the stock one back on because it was so damn loud. I wore ear plugs everytime I ride and also used the db killer it came with

Using a similar off brand exhaust on a Honda XR150L...sounds brutal, runs nice too, did a carb tune. Oh I don't use the baffle. The machine sounds like a much bigger bike! Love the sound of yours bro!!
