I was riding yamaha FZs 2011 model from 12 years. Recently, i sold it due to parts unavailability. My past experience is previous Fzs was superb bike, comfortable riding style & soft suspension. I travelled a lot on my bike throughout South india. Some days i used to travel 400km in a day without tiredness & back pain. Horse power was 14 BHP in my bike. My journey was fantastic wherever i went on my lovely fzs because suspension was soft & relaxable. Bike used to easily cruise 90 to 95 on highways without stress on the engine. this is my story of the last 12 years with yamaha FZs 2012 version. Coming back to new Yamaha FZ V3/ V4 bikes: recently i tested my friends new bike for 1 week. I can tell you, new Fz are completely disgusting. They reduced horse power to just 12. They made suspension very stiff, for which i frlt feeling back pain on bad roads. I'm feeling vibration after 68kmph in handle bars, seats & thigh areas. They completely spoiled yamaha FZs bike in bs6 version. I'm a big fan of yamaha & and the company is spoiling its legacy by manufacturing crap bikes like FZx. In india, many showrooms of yamaha have shut down in recent years because of poor sales. Yamaha should learn from HONDA & try to make bikes that are sturdy & performance oriented. A new FZs build quality is worst & maintaining a yamaha bikes are as equivalent to maintaining super bikes. Service cost is too high. Why should people buy this poor 12 BHP bike (125cc bike is more powerful than this) by paying around 1.8 lakh on road price. People should also suffer in a service centre with a high cost of spares. Yamaha will become like Nokia if they ignore customers' feedback. Recently, they stopped fazer 250 due to low sales. If this continues, in coming years, yamaha will shut its operation in india like what happened with Ford. I'm a big fan of yamaha & i Dont want this to happen. YAMAH, if you want to survive in India, improve the performance & listen to indian vloger about what they are giving feedback directly from customers. Study the ground level reality of Indian youths & then launch the bike because your target audience is youth not family persons.

I have FZ v3 too and I can't agree more with what you said. Suspension too hard, power is more like 125cc segment. Only saving grace is that base model FZ (which I bought) is just within 1 lakhs ex showroom. Given a choice, I'll spend more money and choose one of our Indian companies like Bajaj, Hero, TVS, who are doing a great job.

अरे भाई power speed का क्या करोगे launch होने से 16 साल से ये bike भारतीय बाजार मे चल रहा है इसका वजह है इसकी mileage 150cc मे best है और हमलोग chapri rider नहीं है जो race लगाए waise भी higway पर हमारे जैसे लोग 80 से ज्यादा speed नहीं चलाते 👍

sold this within 1 month and bought pulsar n160. I had fz v2 and that bike was also underpowered but somehow felt better than this crap v4. v4 is mostly plastic, too much cheap plastic and yea I agree with everything you just said. inside city, it is fine but on an open stretch, this feels like a 125cc after 85-90 kph. and they need a better design team.

Many people complaining about tank panel issue after buying this. Because of the plastic quality of tank. And, the locks are not sufficient enough to hold the plastic panels of tank. As I said in the video the fit and finish is not very up to mark, it's okish.

Iam also using fzv3 but the bike power really disappointed me,at list they should having 16 BHP and 14 turk,its a 150cc engine,not 125cc bikes,even ktm 125cc got 15 BHP,yamaha need to give power in bike,THANK YOU ALL.

Pulsar N 150 is better for people who want better riding experience. Its suspensions are much stiffer as compared to Yamaha which means the control and braking of the bike has improved a lot. The exhaust sound of Pulsar is more bassy compared to Yamaha. So like I said the overall riding experience is good in Pulsar in terms of power, handling, brakes. On the other hand, Yamaha is boldly promoting its bike as the lord of streets. It has less power and torque compared to Pulsar. The weight is also less than Pulsar. Therefore its power to weight ratio appears to be good. When you drive it in the city with the pillion, you will still not feel the lack of power. But when you try to cruise it at 90-100 on the highway, the engine feels stressed. If you frequently ride on the highway then Pulsar would be much better. Now Yamaha is leading in the engine department, its engine is refined and there is not much vibration unless you rev ​​very high. Fuel efficiency is much better than Pulsar. And it also comes with traction control system which does not come with Pulsar. Its rear brake doesn't work very well but the feedback of the front brake is good, so it will be better if you use both the brakes together. So if you mostly wants to ride in the city and want a fuel efficient motor with some extra features then Yamaha is better. Now it depends on you what is the priority of your needs. Thank you bro. Yamaha ke engine maintained ho toh jyda hi chalte hai for sure. Han but Bajaj bhi bure nahi hai..bas long term me yamaha ki complaint Kam hoti hai. Power , performance pasand hai toh le sakte ho Bajaj. 5-6 saal se kaise bhi chalegi bike. Iss period me maintain rakha toh aage bhi Kam hi kharcha degi.
