In French we call that "Plein Jeu", the basis of the Church organ registration. Petit plein jeu, grand plein jeu with anches (reeds). With his left hand on the keyboard, Peter is supposed to play "anches" of the pedal with his feet ! (Some of the biggest pipes of the organ : bombarde, etc)

@bahnsimund9 ай бұрын

@genosworld9 ай бұрын
can you explaine please what is clicky ?
@SOPM20079 ай бұрын
I guess some clipping is meant but this is due to the recording.
@genosworld9 ай бұрын
@@SOPM2007 I understand what you mean…. When I record a wave, it is recorded in 16 bits so distortions are possible. At 32 bits you can no longer hear them. I go way down with the recording level but sometimes it can't be avoided... 👍🏽👍🏽 greetings 🙋🏼♂️
@mrdali679 ай бұрын
@@genosworld Can't hear anything wrong with the sound, even it's loud .. but the 16/32bit part is kinda gibberish. if stuff is clipping you are running a too hot signal into whatever your recording with, preamp or digital input. You have a higher dynamic range with 32bit but 16bit is already more than enough to cover the human ears dynamic range, so low practical there is absolutely no gain in recording in 24 or 32bit other than your noise floor is much lower with 24 or 32 bit. but often you have gear in the recording chain that already have a higher noise floor than 16bit. The maximum level wether 16, 24 or 32 bit is still the same and 32 bit will sound just as bad as 16bit if you have digital clipping which is actually much worse than analog. A good idea for the genos is to first turn the buildin master compressor off as your just adding to the problem. If you can't manage the levels that go into the mix bus, a master compressor isn't gonna remove any clipping in an overdriven mix bus. Your only turning the overall RMS of the output up higher making it all worse. Unfortunately in many instruments (not only the Genos) you don't always have a way of checking levels on each part with a meter to check how hot they are and if the internal mix bus is overdriven which is a common user problem of turning levels of each track way to high up. Just because mixing is happening totally in the digitally domain doesn't mean you can forget about proper gainstaging in the keyboard. If people is having problems with clipping, your levels of each track is too high. turn everything down 10-20 untill the clipping goes away, then you can turn the master compressor on again if you like that sound. Personly I don't like an over-compressed signal, and honestly unless your running everything incl. vocals out thru the Genos It's the wrong place to add a master compressor. Just my opinion. And Yamaha really should put a user guide IN the General Manual how to use a Compressor and how to control your levels in the mixer as many even higly skilled musicians have absolutely no clue of stuff like gainstaging and how to use a compressor/Limiter .. or we just may have some bad habbits from self learning at home or on stage that you don't learn from your Piano, guitar teacher etc... There is so many features in modern keyboards that go well beyond normal playing that could easy require several months of 5 days a week courses to cover if we were to know everything about using these features to the max potential that not many of us know everthing there is to know of whatever instrument we play.

If a player wants more, he has the option of reloading sounds as needed via the expansion board. In every quality... These sounds are the basis of the Genos. If you want to play church music, get Hauptwerk or another alternative. Nothing else to say.
