Thank you brother Rick. Something I can work on in our church in Switzerland. God Bless!

I been doing this for a while. I never had to share rf mics but this is a cool trick.

Can you make a video demonstrating how to run a system using matrices?

Nice brother Rick! Thanks for the tip!!! I'm looking for a way to copy a full mix (fader positions) to another mix on LS9, do you have any tricks for that? Also, I was trying to chain the GEQ into a multiband compressor on my ST Out insert path, but I could not find a way to send the sound from the GEQ to the Multiband (nor vice-versa), I can only insert one or another. Thanks in advance for the help!

I don't fully understand what you mean about copy a full mix to another mix on the LS9. If you copy the full mix then it would overwrite the other mix on the LS9. Are you talking about copying a partial mix to another mix scene? Look into Recall Safe, you can do the entire channel or only select what you want to be in the recall safe mode. Example would be to enable partial recall safe on the faders and when you change scenes, the other items like EQ and compression would change but the fader position would not, just depends on what you enable on the partial recall safe. Usually it's the other way around. You will partial recall safe the gain, EQ, compressor and mix bus contributions and allow fader change and mute. This is handy in theatre where you don't want to change anything except for the saved fader position and mutes with the scene changes. On the second part of the question, if you are in POST fade mode the EQ from the channel goes into the multiband. You would most likely have to use a mix bus or matrix send into the GEQ to make it happen. Good luck

@@rickcperry this helps me to get closer to what I want. I will try to send the main mix to a matrix, insert the multiband there and then route that to the GEQ and then to the stereo out or directly to the omni outs I use for the PA. The first question is kind of simple, I want to copy the fader positions from my Mix 1, to the Mix 2 and so on. This is to make one monitor mix, and copy that as a starting point to the other monitor mixes (in-ears). Do you think that is possible??? I'm not looking into recalling a whole scene, jusr copying the mix I made for Mix 1 to the other Mix Buses, so I can use the first monitor mix as a sort of template for the other ones. Thanks so much for your reply

@@edus2868Oh I see what you are asking now, sorry. Yea I've always wanted to copy a mix and never figured out how on the Yamaha. On the Midas Pro console I can do it but don't know how on the Yamaha. I've had in ear packs go bad and had to swap the pack on a singer and it would have been nice to copy the mix to another aux bus but ended up swapping back and forth to get it where the other mix was. I've not been behind any yamaha mixers for around 8 years now and lost some of my tricks. Let me know if you figure it out...Thanks

I wouldn't describe that as channel cloning...
