In short, without criticism, the Korg has great potential and can sound however you want, the Yamaha is poor because it only relies on samples, best regards

@czarecki80 I own both of them, and both are amazing in their own way!

When you are listening to music, it really doesn't matter how the sound is created, it's really only the sound that matters. I have both, Yamaha Motif XF and Korg Kronos, they both sounds really great in their own way. Despite Yamaha Motif XF only uses sample based sound creation, it still sounds really great in its own way. Korg Kronos have several sound engines, but it's really complicated to use, and requires a lot of dedication to get out the full potential of it, while Yamaha Motif XF only uses sample based sound creation, it's way more easy to use, but still got pretty good sound modify capabilities with envelopes, effects and 18 filter types.

I agree how you listen to the final mix doesn't really matter I, on the other hand, can hear every nuance because I am a sound designer and every detail is important to me but both instruments are ok although in my profession korg gives more possibilities greetings

it's hard to see that you're playing on a hammer keyboard, the Korg keyboard is hard to play and requires a different technique than the Yamaha. As for the colors, the Yamaha has nice ones, but I prefer the Korg colors and the possibilities of creating them.
