Were the springs the wrong way round in the end? Wasnt clear in the video. I have one coming monday and besides that this video was a good clear tutorial

Thanks for the feedback! Basically the link pipe that sits between the downpipes and the mid section where the springs attach to was upside down. So just use common sense, line up where everything else goes and it should be obvious which way round it goes. They go both the same orientation which is upwards towards the sky. I think labelling was wrong on mine so I just turned it round at it worked. It is a bit awkward to line it all up so just attach stuff loosely so you can wiggle it about a bit

Thank you! I basically meant the big jubilee clip style things you have which tighten the exhaust around each joint. So i use exhaust paste, slip the parts of the exhaust together and then tighten the exhaust clamp/"compression fittings". Think I just worded it weirdly!

Sorry for the stupid question, but could you tell me where you got the tools to replace the exhaust? Im getting my first bike pretty soon and would love to do all the mods by myself

Hey dude, no stupid questions here! I myself use mainly a Halfords advanced tool set I got 10 years ago as a christmas present! Something such as a good starter tool kit will do most of what you need, along with a few good screwdrivers, pliers and other assorted bits. Pick up a good, comprehensive sset and then that covers most needs, then think about what else you might need and grab those :)

I did not ECU Flash and it seems ok. the odd pop and bang when you come of the throttle but who doesn't love that?

Is this the 200mm or 300mm version? Was the baffle in or out during this video? Did any check engine lights come on after taking the baffle out? I heard you don’t have to tune or flash with the baffle in but with the baffle out you might have to. What has your been experience been with that? Thanks

Andy G I have no idea. I was just checking to figure out the best look. For me I the shorter 200mm one better. But it’s just personal preference.

@@vinzo2385 Vinzo, i have the 200 mm black widow on my mt 07 2018. I have driven around 25k kilometers with this exhaust now and probably 20k out of the 25 k without db killer. I didn't flash it and there doesn't come a check engine light.

I've just put a Widow on mine - it sounds SO loud compared to the stock exhaust...maybe to the point I'm a little worried about it annoying my neighbours. Everyone I ride past turns their heads that's for sure 😅

Yeah these bikes are so quiet from standard, a system just opens them up. My friend has one with Akrapovic exhaust and it drowned out my gixxer when we were sat at lights, I'd wonder if my bike was even on haha
