Yamaha MT100 - Recording Tracks

Hello! thank you for these videos, they are clear and helpful. Do you plan to continue this series of tutorials for the Yamaha MT100? I wish to learn more.

You connect instruments with the input jacks on the front of the unit. In the video, I have 2 instruments connected. One is using the black cable on channel one, the other is red on channel 2. Use standard guitar/instrument cables to connect instruments.

Hi I just bought this unit an and I don’t have a quarter inch jack to listen yet, but when it’s turned on the record light is flashing and I can’t stop it from flashing. Is it malfunctioning?

Why should you use a 100 min or less tape?

The larger capacity cassettes place too much tension while recording. Many people prefer 60 minute tapes for a good balance between tension and having ample recording time at high speed. If I recall correctly, I think the user manual states to use less than 100-minute tapes.
