Damnit. Is this what’s meant by “Performance” on the keyboard? I need to know how to custom each sound, layer then and be able to switch them like guitar patches for each section of the song. The instruction book is a convoluted mess.

How to change octaves independently on both parts of the split? It’s not always going to be bass on the left Let’s suppose it’s a violin. If I don’t move the octave up, the violin will sound like an uprightbass

The problem is you can't do the fill in like intro n all in the drums it has no ending n fill in this is why i dnt like the mx

I am so wary of these KZbin promotions now. It always looks so easy and sounds so great. They leave out lots of vital info that you need to know before you can zip around these boards like the demo men do. I know these are budget entry level boards but the yshould tell you not to expect a pleasant playing experience with the cutprice keybeds..they dont deliver a fun playing experience.. I am warning you. It could be a false economy in the long run. There seem to be lots of these up for sale 2nd hand. These MX models are acceptable for the dosh but in all truth to be fair look quite good when compared to the abysmal Korg Kross 2 which has such a shockingly poor keybed along with gritty electronic low res sounds it should be made instantly illegal..and none of the reviews tell you this. Its beyond cheap and nasty..so always go and try before you buy. I got a Kross mail order and returned it within the hour in disbelief and horror..and lesson learned ! Finally I am far from convinced the DAs are outputting anything like the same spec as the motif. When you pay budget you get budget so take care and think long term if you take your music seriously

Its there, the patch for the Rhodes is in the KB bank 001 "Vintage '74"

Neither do I. These promotional videos of the Yamaha MX series are very unreliable. The sounds they present in the videos have nothing to do with the real sound of the MX. Very disappointed.

I have no complaints , it does the job , sounds great. the patch for the Rhodes is in the KB bank 001 "Vintage '74"
