mindblowing... you are literally brushing the rust particles onto the precious Be drivers!!

You putz. I have a pair of these and that is definitely NOT how to remove the speakers. Stand the speaker upright and never pry them out.

I have a question why not just disconnect the wires and clean the speaker on a floor away from the speaker box

I have a pair of these in mint condition. I have been using them as subs for the past 20 years.

Поставь колонку вертикально и вытащить без проблем.

I have a pair of Yamaha NS 1000 to repair , The problem is the bass units as it seems like the magnets have slipped which I believe is a common problem. The cones wont move because of the miss alignment. I am not sure how to loosen the magnets

@1:53…”proper German engineering”? Ahem…I’m sure there will be some that aren’t too offended!

Not sure who made the drivers for the Yamaha, but a lot of the good Sony speakers from that era have Norwegian Seas drivers and are assembled in Germany :D

You appear to have done literally nothing whatsoever to service or upgrade these special monitors. Wiping some hammerite on the magnet assembly is doing what exactly? I really can't see what you were trying to achieve, much less what you did. Did you not look at or attend to the crossover or L-Pads at all? You really should have called this video "messing around with the Yamaha" as you said as it appears thats really all your did. Other than that, great video.
