Ruim tien jaar na de introductie van de Yamaha P-serie komt Yamaha met een nieuw product: de Yamaha P-125. Deze opvolger van de P-115 laat zien waarom Yamaha al jaren aan de top zit van de stagepiano’s. Met maar liefst 24 verschillende geluiden, 20 verschillende ritmes en verschillende effecten beschikt u met dit instrument over nog meer mogelijkheden.
Yamaha heeft met de P-125 weer een bijzonder goed instapmodel stagepiano. Het 88-toetsen-tellende instrument heeft een gewogen klavier en voelt daarmee bijna als een akoestische piano.
Dit gevoel wordt versterkt door de twee 7 Watt speakers, waardoor u een ruimtevullend geluid krijgt. Wilt u dit juist niet? Dan kunt u tot wel twee hoofdtelefoons, zoals bijvoorbeeld onze Amadeus HPN-20, aansluiten.

The thing about the keys is true, since the keys are plastic and have no synthetic ivory finish, there are other options like the Casio PXS1000 or the Yamaha P515 but the latter is more expensive

Honestly, I love the shiny keys since the p125 doesn't have that polished outer black like a grand piano, it atleast has highly polished keys. Ths keys also look very nice if you play in a dark room but have one big light ray to shine down on the piano. It sometimes shines like diamonds.

Quería preguntarte si puedo tocar acordes en este piano que los reconozca y seguro que habrá que ponerlos en posición de tónica para que el bajo también haga esa nota principal con el ritmo. Hola amigo, en el Yamaha P-125 puedes hacer acordes en posición de tónica por lo que he visto en algún tutorial, pero solo te sonará el bajo y el ritmo de batería y muy bien por cierto. Pero me he dado cuenta que no hace acompañamiento como en los teclados que normalmente estamos acostumbrados a tocar, por eso no he querido comprar el piano este yamaha y he comprado el Yamaha psr EW-425 que suena muy bien y tiene 76 teclas. A mi me pasa lo mismo que dejé el piano hace 50 años y me dediqué al órgano y teclados con ritmos últimamente. Por eso un pianista lo hará sonar mejor al tocar más notas con la mano izquierda. A mí me gusta mucho el 125 pero se que me iba aburrir pronto por mi forma de tocar.

Ya me di cuenta que el Yamaha p-125 suena muy bien pero está hecho para pianistas, y se que tiene acompañamiento de bajo y batería, pero no es arreglador como en los teclados con acompañamiento automático. Los organistas que ya hace muchos años que dejamos el piano se nos complica mucho al no poder poner la mano izquierda como tiene que ser en un piano.

Whenever i hear a Yamaha piano i can always tell the b and the c notes 1 octave above middle c. How can i tell ? Because they are both DUFF notes that sound nothing like the rest of the notes on the piano and have nothing like the same volume as all the other notes. This applies to both acoustic and digital pianos.

Definitely one of the better pianos in its price range. The only other comparable one in my opinion is the Roland FP30. Both the Yamaha P125, and Roland FP30 sound excellent. One thing to be aware of however, is the Roland FP30 does not have line out, which is a problem if you plan on taking the keyboard to gigs. If it's just for home use, however, either keyboard is great.

The P-125 is the last model from Yamaha which use the CFIIIS grand piano samples. All other instruments (Clavinovas, Montage, even YDP series) now features CFX samples (and Bosendorfer as an extra) - the P515 also have C7 grand piano. From my perspective CFIIIS is a bit brighter, bit more "pop" sound, which was generic for years (older CLP models, my old favourites CP-300, CP-33, P-250, etc) The CFX samples changed this, but i wont say that it sounds worse, it just different, and may you have to set it brighter manually. BUT the piano action is way better in P-515, and the general sound technology is much better (binaural sampling for better headphone experience - piano room for deep setting of the piano)

They might have recorded digitally over USB to WAV file. That will give superior audio quality to recordings made from the line-out which is analogue not digital. There is no point owning a digital piano if you are going to record via analogue line-out.

Yes - you can adjust individuals note by tone and volume. (Tune each note by itself. What I don't think is so necessary) - you can access the score of the 50 music's which comes on piano's memories. And practise the eft hand and the right hand - you can mix 2 sound of same category (into piano you can Combinate 2 sounds but each of of different category. Like 1 piano and a string,. In the app you can put 2 sounds of same Category, what is not so useful) - in app you can define how sensitive your key should be. (I don't like it. I prefer use the standard sensitivity, you decide de curve of sensitivity.) -in app you can adjust the level of intensity of the Pedal Lp1 (triple pedal Unit) -in App you can record and see the score you play if you play midi (but I never seen this work well) Except from this everything is made by the Keyboard itself. But the App is like a screen where you have access to the same features you already have on piano. In piano you should press a button and a note then you activate something then same button and other not then you deactivate the option In App you just have all of it without need to memorize these things.

One interesting thing I have to point out... I own both a P125 and a P115. Both have got the "GHS" key mechanism.. but they feel completely diffirent. Actually the P115 keys feel much more authentic to play. More like a real piano. Its crazy.. I owned the P125 long before I got the P115 but the P115 is sooo much better to play. P125 should be the same or an improvement but it clearly feels less reaslistic. P115 keys also "reset" faster after pressing which feels way better in faster music. But also slow, soft music really is easier to play on the P115🤷🏻‍♂️

I am no expert on all the different cable connectors so I very well could be wrong on how I stated it and it was 8 months ago but fairly certain the manual said printer cable. You can! I just bought the needed USB for the connectivity and it works! I'm using huawei p30 pro using smart pianist app.. And it works on p 125

U just need a type B "to host usb" to type A and another one type A adapter to type C " type C in my case as I'm using huawei p 30"

@@joerts2365 cool news !! I was concerned about if the app itself doesn't support p 125. Checked the app features recently and found yamaha added support to p 125.

Casio px 160 tem o timbre melhor

Com todo o respeito Claudio, o Casio PX 160 não chega nem perto da qualidade do timbre do Yamaha P 125. Aliás se você assistir alguns vídeos comparativos entre o Casio PX 160 e o Yamaha P 115 que é a versão anterior e portanto inferior ao P 125, vai ver que mesmo o P 115 já era melhor que o PX 160.
