Thanks for the excellent demo. The sounds are good. Can the bass be played without splitting the keyboard? Not on the predecessor, and that led to problems when sequencing. Since the P-121 is disappearing from stores, so soon after the P-125 went, I can only suppose that Yamaha currently has no 73-key piano under 1000 dollars. I hope that a P-221 piano with 73 keys will be announced soon. I'd love to know your opinion of GHC (P-145/P-225) vs GH (P-255)

Do the speakers at the rear and the lack of a speaker underneath the 225 make it have less sound power than the 125? It seems so to me when I hear the comparisons here on KZbin.

Hi excellent demo. This is going to sound like a silly question but I I have to ask as this burned me on the DGX670 and made me return it. When you use the sustain pedal does this work on the string/pad sounds as well? I ask because on the DGX670 when I held the sustain pedal down on non piano sounds like strings, the sustain would not hold the notes on those sounds. It would only hold the notes on piano sounds which made it particularly difficult when dealing with layers.
@anthonypanebianco22 Жыл бұрын
Hi, thanks for your message! Yes, strings sounds sustain pedal works as decreasing the volume and legato in both models, It’s a way to play the layer sounds like you have volume pedal (release)….can be useful, just understand how it works. Both models have same features.
@neol07707 Жыл бұрын
Ah ok so it's not like a traditional keyboard say like a Motif or Montage where when you sustain a pad/string sound, the sustain is on the volume. Sounds like it more of a decay instead of a volume sustain which may not be as desirable potentially. Thanks for the info. @@anthonypanebianco22
