Yamaha Power Tuner App "How To" Tutorial - Featuring 2021 YZ250f

A quick run through for using the app and loading maps. I've had a little time on the bike since making this video and I prefer the OEM "Hard Hitting" map as my favorite. The other maps just seem to limit the full range of the engine.

So you mentioned you added other maps I can’t figure out how to add more maps separate from the stock maps I’m trying to get the keefer free feeling map but idk how to add it onto the tuner app

@@urbancow8348 just create a new map and enter the correct settings in the fuel injection and ignition tables and name the new map Keefer Free Feeling. You’ll have to look up the correct settings though. I wish I could attach an image. Good luck!

Hello, I hope you are well, I have a problem with the ccu, everything works for me, it connects me to the application, the only thing is that when I go to send the map it tells me that there is an error and it cannot send, it is a 450 fx 2024

@@mateog9859 I’ve had that happen to me as well but eventually it uploads after several tries. Other than that I don’t have much of a solution unfortunately.

Do you know if you can shift on the fly with the MAP button? Or do you need to be stopped and in neutral? Thanks

You can hit the button at any point and it's instant. Pretty cool to switch back and forth while riding to feel the difference between maps.

If you have the ECU GYTR you don’t have the stocks maps

Do they come with the ccu from stock ?

Yes, it comes standard with the bike.

@@charliedienn3401 Bummer, this is for a 2021? I would download the manual to confirm the location but should be close to the battery under the left side number plate.

@@jimfielding171 been through all that checked the vin and yeah I think some has taken off before they sold the bike but I’ve paid full price when it should have been cheaper with out the £600 ccu

How do you download new maps?

I believe you can only add a map, then manually input the values for the Fuel Injection & Ignition Grids. Basically find a map online and copy it on the app.
