Hello.
In this video, I will introduce the Pro Sound rhythm package I have prepared for the Yamaha PSR A 5000.
When I started working about 3 months ago, we made demos with the rhythms I first wrote. And I shared these demos in some groups on social media. I met with an interest that far exceeded my expectations. A lot of different interpretations came. How this sound comes out of the organ, it's like the orchestra is playing. There were even people who said fake for these demos. After that, when I started getting a lot of questions about the contents of the package, I decided to shoot this promotional video when I finished the first basic part of the package.
I will try to introduce you to the rhythms in the package by playing them one by one in a moment. I will play it short so that the video is not too long.
Before moving on to rhythms, I don't want to go without mentioning two important issues that musicians who play rhythm keyboards have problems with. There are two important things that I have been meticulous about while preparing this package.
1.Balance, that is, balance.
The balance of the Decanters playing in the rhythms between themselves,
The balance of rhythm elements and
Decoupling between different rhythms.
We're talking about the balance of what.
Basically, volume balance.
If there is a problem with these points I mentioned, you can throw away the sound check you made before the stage with peace of mind. Why?
The equalizer setting you make in sound check will work correctly according to the current input signal level. If there is a balance problem in your rhythms during the scene, that is, if the level of one rhythm is here and the other rhythm is here, you will not get the correct result when you first set it from the equalizer. Therefore, the sound check will also be meaningless.
On the other hand, if you are using a compressor on the output floor, the treshold you set will not work correctly when your ratio settings encounter very different input signal levels from each other. Since more compression will occur when it encounters a high volume level, it will cause the sound to fall excessively and rise again every time it hits what we call the pumping effect, especially in your kicks.
2. the topic is functionality.
The main sections in the rhythms and especially the intro, ending and breaks should be functional. It should give you comfort on stage. An intro or ending that you will never use in a piece only takes up space in the rhythm. Dysfunctional rhythms are always an obstacle for a musician to fully demonstrate his performance on stage.
Finish:
When starting this work, I set out with this vision, saying that there should be no tracks that you cannot play on the keyboard. The realization of this will be entirely with you users.Send me links to recordings that I can reference for the different types of rhythms that you need that you want to have in the package, and I will write these rhythms and include them in the package so that the package will constantly improve. Except for the special rhythm packages that I will prepare myself, all the rhythms that come from you and that you say should be in the package will be written for free and sent to all users as updates.
