What is it that makes the circuit board conductive in the first place?
@OndrejPopp4 жыл бұрын
Copper. But if you mean the switch contacts, people use carbon from a pencil for that, see for example here : kzbin.info/www/bejne/sKPUmYOal8mBZ6M
@audunjemtland82874 жыл бұрын
@@OndrejPopp Yes the contact points.Thanks man. I've seen people use aluminum foil as well, does that conduct?
@OndrejPopp4 жыл бұрын
@@audunjemtland8287 Yes Aluminum is a conductor as well. See here en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electrical_conductor#:~:text=In%20physics%20and%20electrical%20engineering,metal%20are%20common%20electrical%20conductors. There is also a link to other materials on that page as well, but those mentioned directly on that page, Silver, Gold,Cupper and Aluminum are the most common ones, and also carbon of course from the pencil or 4.5 V battery. In theory you can use whatever you like as long as it is a conductor. So people use aluminum foils to fix the contacts as well, but I do not find that that practical.. First you need to cut the aluminum foil into small strips and glue it over the contacts... Then if the strip falls off it may short something else inside which could damage the keyboard.. So I would go for the pencil solution... or order new rubber contact strips, like in the other videos.

I have a loose key. It wobbles. Still plays, but shifts (2 Bb below middle C). Also DC connection not working, new batteries put in but no power when I press power button). No problem with AC connection. Any help out there for Yamaha PSR E363?
