So I dont know if you saw one of my more recent videos, but my akra bolts rattled off during a ride and couldnt get replacements. Went with the Graves 3/4 system here: imp.i104546.net/9W9VoY Love this exhaust more than the Akra, even though I have loved Akra and had them on a lot of my bikes.

Hey I have a 2020 R1 and I was planning on doing the same 3/4 system. Does the bike run fine/will I damage anything with the O2 sensors still connected after install? Or would you recommend a servo buddy/ecu flash?
@brad4334 ай бұрын
Did you tune it? If so what did you use?
@kishorextreme Жыл бұрын
Did you feel any vibrations from the right foot peg after the install. When I installed and start the bike I found the right foot peg have slight more vibrations .
@1TWFAMOUS2 жыл бұрын
Greetings of peace. Because it's a 3/4 system the air filter is not needed to be upgraded? Also will the map need to be flashed and dyno?
@MotoViceOfficial2 жыл бұрын
Whether it’s full system or 3/4 or slip on, the air filter doesn’t “need” to be upgraded. But if you are going to flash or tune, you might as well to get the most out of your bike.
@jaredbaray5538 ай бұрын
hey i’ve seen the same exhaust on some r1’s but instead of the red and yellow akra sticker on it now it has an all black one, do you know how to get that?
@YamahaR-gf1uh2 жыл бұрын
After doing this do you need to do a flash on the ECU will it run lean? I knw u can add the servo buddy for the CEL
@MotoViceOfficial2 жыл бұрын
A bit but the ecu will adjust to the AFR and the bike wont be damaged. Its fine! Flash will just get the most out of your system and correct throttle and AFR.

How do you get the exhaust to shoot flames, you need the full exhaust correct in order to do that, is the power commander/tuning a must? Great work thanks in advance for your content
@MotoViceOfficial2 жыл бұрын
The 3/4 system will have decel pops (flames). I would never recommend a power commander, as for the price a tune will always get you better results. A tune is not required since the ecu will compensate a little bit for the increase of flow, but definitely recommended to get the most of your bike.

I have a 2020 and I’m debating on just going full system Do you think it’s worth it or are the stock headers good enough?
@MotoViceOfficial2 жыл бұрын
No need to go headers. There is no restriction in them. Only difference would be the small bit of weight savings.

I have a 2021 r1 . I have a question do our bikes come with titanium headers stock? Supposedly on the 15-19 r1 they were titanium . Did they downgrade to stainless steel on ours?
@MotoViceOfficial2 жыл бұрын
Its actually the opposite. 20+ comes with titanium headers where I think the 19- has stainless. I could be wrong about the 2019 and under but i know 20+ got tianium headers.
@TrickRacing2 жыл бұрын
@@MotoViceOfficial okay I was just making sure because I just bought a 2021 r1 and wasn't sure. There's a lot of confusion about if the headers are titanium or stainless
@TrickRacing2 жыл бұрын
@@MotoViceOfficial I think we need to get a solid answer to this question. Did you do a a 3/4 system or full system? If the oem headers are titanium I'll keep them and just do a 3/4 system but if they're stainless I might try to do a full system . Could save serious weight reduction
@MotoViceOfficial2 жыл бұрын
@@TrickRacing I now have a graves 3/4 titanium system since the headers are already titanium on my 2022. 2020 and up is for sure titanium headers. This is why I only did a 3/4. If it was stainless I would have done full. This is why no one sells just headers for the R1 for the 20+. They are already titanium.

Great video! Let me ask you one question. Does the link pipe has any clamps to secure with the bike? From the video, It looks only two pipes from the headers holding the link pipe. Is it just hanging?

I have a 2023 yamaha r1 I want to install a midpipe to eliminate the cat. What do I do with the exhaust valve cables and do I need to do a tune on the bike?
@MotoViceOfficial Жыл бұрын
cut them and rip them out! Just make sure to put a servo buddy under the seat where the servo used to plug in. Its best to get it tuned but you can run it without cats and the ecu will adjust a bit to it.
