Got around to doing my first oil change on the R1!
Oil Filter Number: 5GH-13440-80-00 (doesn't come with crush washer)

How many liters of oil do we put?

Do you trust the 10-40 weight? I just put in 10-40 motul 7100 too. The manual says 15-50

it says either 10-40 or 15-50 in my manual. 10-40 worked fine for me 👍

What would last longer a ninja 400 or a Yamaha r3 in your opinion?

They would both last incredibly long with good care and proper maintenance. You can't go wrong with either of them 🔥👍

Just got a 2024 r1. Question what pictures do i send in or whatever because i got that 5 year extended warranty & lady said on the phone just write down what u did how many hours it took and follow what the owner manual says. She said a paper in the mail will be like a log book and log what u did to show proff. I only say this bc my friend ducati v4 after 7 months is not doing well with backfire and ect. So i wanna be on the safe side by going 2 the dealer ship but they say 350$ for the first service.so i find your video that u said i can take pics and what not as proof and i dont wanna spend all that money in the Stealership lol. So where do i take pictures or log what i do so, God forbid engine blows up i show them what i used how many hours it took and what not? Thanks 4 the video btw! Please have parts or links so we can click on it and buy this im at 530miles at 600 ill do what u did! Also is the washer included that we need to replace apparently?

If you go to the dealership, they will most likely have the oil filter + crush washers there or atleast order them. The washer does not come with the filter. Also, the oil filter number is 5GH-13440-80-00.

Could i get the part number for the drain plug washer you used?

There was no number on it when I got it from the dealership. I went in recently to get more parts for another oil change, and he gave me a honda crush washer, which worked. 😅 So there's that

Do you have the part number for the oil filter? I get mixed reviews on the part number.

On the box the number reads 5GH-13440-80 I believe 5GH-13440-80-00 online is the same thing Hopefully this helps 👍
