I had this issue. I spend over 10K to fix it. I even brought mechanic at my home on two occasions for it. I changed my coolant. Changed my fan. Changed my RR units. And in India a lot of uneducated mechanic that have no idea on how the bike works but probably learn from his family shop do all the repairs. They keep suggesting to changed perfectly functioning parts and while do so they also do some damage to the other parts. Well, the issue was simple. I got myself a new battery. They engine heating stopped. May be your bike conserve energy and stop cooling the other components of the bike. Get ride of exide batteries. I know with all that advertising by UNICEF on how they are giving children a new life with the battery. You use your empathy over reasoning. In return your bike is plague with issues. Issues that not even Yamaha showroom can fix. For me SF sonic batteries did the job and the bike runs softer than ever.

Bro Ur advice seems genuine I had a big problem with my same issue my bike is overheating haven't changed battery from the day I had buyed nearly 5 years as it seems no need for that..now coolent blockage is not their neither it draining I had 2 options either to change radiator or change batter how much it cost to change radiator & what should I try first

@@cricketornothing4876 before replace parts we have to inspect it. first check the coolant system.check coolant level.Check for the leakage,check the water pump function and the thermostats.inspect and replace if need.

Hey I had changes the fuel injector & piston of my bike after that m getting a problem my bike gets heated after every 2-3 km of ride the red warning signal is coming & also bike become a bit heavy to ride ..I checked my bike again coolent is ok no blockage no draining of coolent, fan is running fine is it the problem in radiator that it is not pulling enough air.. My bike is 5 year old 70k km done NVR changed battery is it the problem from battery

Hey get rid of the Exide battery and get yourself a good battery. I spend over 10K to learn it the hard way. Believe me you will take it to the Yamaha servicing centre and they won't do shit to your issue. Change your radiator, change your coolants the entire RR unit but none of that will help you. I chose SF sonic MK1440-TZ5 batteries. My friend suggested me the idea and I tried and oddly it worked.

@@yashwaikos8136 your battery conserve energy when it is low. Just like in a car when the battery is low the seat heaters and dashboard cooling doesn't work. It's the same thing with R15. It conserve the energy to keep running only the most needed parts. It not that you have to take my advice. You can take the advice of many experts and watch you money get burn without solving the issue. You will thank me later. Believe me.
