Dino Bro. I have r15m too. And i am also facing almost every issues you mentioned 🤣 Quickshifter lags betwen 3-4 and 5-6 sometimes. And also i broke my left rear fender already🤣😫 Seat is well cushioned for rider and im looking for handlebar risers for my r15m 🥺 I did a ride from chennai to valparai and trust me its pleasure to ride in and out of the hairpin bends. But need frequent breaks. Breaks are brilliant. Mileage is 35-40 inside city and somewhere 40-50 on highways on mixed riding conditions Vibes can be felt while redlines on handlebars and footpegs and little buzz on seat. But when you start to cruise at 5th or 6th gear around 7-8k rpm around 80-90 kmph. The bike is butter smooth. Ride safe. Have fun 😌 #r15m #yamaha

R15 and RC200 are the best racing/sports bikes in the 2 lakh range. The rest of the bikes like RS200, Pulsar 250 and Hero Extreme 200 are normal bikes with fairings with no connection to racing, cornering speed, or aerodynamics. Yamaha and KTM have racing history and it shows on the bikes.

Cornering, racing depends upon the person who's riding it, not the bike. One can corner using rs200 And smoke of r15 in the corner as its got more punch in initial and screams on top end. So it's all based on the person skills not the bike

@@navaneethneelam Go do your research instead of sounding stupid. Cornering depends on the chassis, throttle tuning, aerodynamics, and weight distribution. If you think the heavy plastic built RS 200 can match the proven Yamaha's Deltabox frame which is also used in Moto Gp, then you are stupid. You don't need more punch in the corners because you will crash. You need a progressive throttle response. If you think it depends on the rider then try cornering a Splendor against R15. R15 has aerodynamics, traction control, VVA, slipper clutch, and RS200 has nothing but the engine borrowed from KTM and cheap plastic which makes it the heavier 200cc in that segment.

@@zohebmajid3320 r15 is high priced, under powered bike . No matter, how much they add racing dynamics, its not going to race track. 99.9% ppl dont take it for a race track. Vva... So what it's still small 155cc engine. Talking about quality, drop the bike once and see the thin paper fairing which bends of and get broken. Press the tank and it would get dent. The pillion section plastic is fragile. Have you heard about rusting, cheap materials used by r15 causes rusting in few months. , no radiator guard, spending 2 lakh plus and getting bulb indicator, unnecessary traction control which is useless. Sound of the bike is not so great. Rs200 sounds amazing. Better to buy rs200, rc200, gixxer sf 250, dominar250, ns200, apache 200 as they are more sport tourer oriented and makes more sense to ride on Indian roads. And Those bikes can CORNER, not necessarily need delta box frame. Split trellis frame, perimeter beam frame can do cornering and stay planted on high ways. No replacement for displacement. Rs200 is 5kg extra weight compared to RC200 its OK. Comparison is between the bikes which can be bought in the price range of r15 v4 not with splendor 😅and namesake they released r15s, which makes no sense. Talking about aerodynamic, nobody goes 130, 140 on highways in India. Yet rc 200, rs200, gixxer can attain top speeds. You will be seeing Death. All that matters is the initial and mid range grunt, r15 long gearing to attend top speeds is pretty useless again.

@@navaneethneelam It's more expensive like RC 200 because it's a foreign brand and they pay more taxes than the Indian brands like Bajaj or TVS. RS200 is value for money but it's cannot be called a racing bike. RS200 and Dominar have copied the designs from other bikes around the world because Bajaj is not creative enough to make their own fairing design. Agreed, it's not the most comfortable, indicators are cheap and nobody goes to the race track but it's the most powerful 150cc engine in the world and people buy it for the experience and the brand it is. Understand the difference between a sports tourer and a racing bike. The bikes you mentioned can corner for sure just not as good as the RC200 or R15 because they are a class apart. In spite of being uncomfortable, R15 still has more sales than RS200 around the world. RS200, NS200 is outdated with no updates for 5-6yrs. Even the NS200 weighs more than R15v3. BTW RC200 has a top speed of 133kmph, check it. I have a V3, it does 151kmph top speed, no rusting issue, chain life is 10k kms(not good) and still smokes Pulsar 220, Apache 200 in a drag race. Bajaj's 150-160cc cannot match that. 200cc engine is not even Bajaj's. We all know how reliable Bajaj's bikes are after 2-3yrs. It's all over the internet.

Planned to r15m but brought rr 310 bto 2022 , fun fact rr 310 costed me 5 k more than rc 390 and 6k less than d390 . My budget went from 2.07l to 3.18l after using my friends rr 310 same like dino Bhai fell in love brought rr 310 but it's racing graphics

It gives good fuel economy when VVA is not activated as you said while riding calm VVA is not active so almost 50kmpl, but if VVA is active most of the time and high revs then bam it's gone. But good ownership review and valid points Dino Bhai✌️

REALLY NEED A SUGGESTION BRO. What about the rear break. I mean whenever I break hard the rear break literally throws off my foot, which is kind of a annoying. Although the showroom guys keep telling me that its because of the ABS system being functional but that doesn't mean you have to rely on the front break only. Trust me its that much annoying and sometimes it even doesn't do the job properly. By the way I always prefer 60/40 breaking ratio and this review is after considering that also.

I think it's about tuning the quick shifter correctly, because I see the adjustable bolt that there on the quick shifter, in my R15M it lags when going to 2nd and 3rd gear but is always smooth at gears above 3rd

Well you can try getting the handle bar raisers from "jemindiaa" (costs around 2800rs), 2 sets of R12 Visor rubber grips for raising the visor away from the handle for free movement. Get it installed with a professional and you are all good to go...

I owned a pulser 220 for good amount of time and things got changed a bit and I came down to splendor and it's been 4 years I am riding splendor. I am using this bike just about anywhere I want to go. Maximum distance I covered on this splendor in one day is 500KM. Now I am thinking of buying a new bike R15 V4 red or Kawasaki baby ninja . I worked really hard and a bit of luck too now I can afford to spend upto 3.5lakhs on a bike. I want to get a piece of advise from you which one to buy. Whichever I am gonna take now on your advice I am going to keep for my lifetime.. atleast as long as it can run.. I can wait for months to hear from you. But when you see this comment please reply

Pulsar 220 is a very comfortable bike in traffic and also on highway. But only one problem that is a fearing vibration and chain noise. Overall bike is very good. I don't know why bajaj discontinued that bike. 250f is also a good but looking very old design is not good.
