Yo MT, i have the full akrapovic carbon system on my MT-07 but was looking at trading the bike in for the R7. My dealership are telling me they wont fit me system on the R7 because it will melt the lower fairing, but if thats the case why do so many people i have seen on youtube have it installed? Is it true it will melt the fairing?

Hi, not sure really. I got the R7 version of the Akra. I have seen the MT07 Akra been installed as well, but as they sell it as different version I wonder if the pipes are routed slightly different. My exhaust is very close to the fairing in a few places but has the heat shielding stuck to the fairing to protect it
