I had a invoice of rd350 of 1983. It cost 36000 + rto Maruti suzuki 800 costed 30000 + rto. 🤣🤣🤣 In 1982 one could purchase a 60x60 site in Jaynagar bangalore for 36k. . Today that would be worth 20crores today, while I am getting an RD 1984 HT for just 4 lakh. Super pristine condition. . In 1982 my dad got 30x40 site for 7000 in vijayanagar bangalore. Today it's valued in 180,00,000 +/- 20,00,000. 🤣🤣🤣

I remember you saying that it doesn't give the confidence when leaning into turns and you couldn't go full on with the bike due to its vibrations. Lots is not original on this bike most rds don’t have all og parts. But mine does.. even the key is og and it has a small plastic flap like compartment for papers under the seat. Also it still runs on points most are cdi now. And oh, it also has that fairing and i love it. Cheers!

The engine sound is really something, but apart from that, practically speaking, can it really match today's bikes in terms of performance? I don't think so. Can it match a Duke 390? Or even a Ninja 300? Nope. Would I buy one if I could? Maybe, for its performance and sound. 100 kph in 7-8 sec is really quick, no doubt. But fanboys who claim this thing can make even todays bikes eat dust are mistaken. Technology is not moving backwards.

The gearbox, and clutch on two strokes is completely different, to squeeze and maintain the powerband your hand, foot and wrist has to be in complete synch, and you are not.. BTW for early model 1973 350A came with drum front and back, they were big and very capable, still used in vintage racing and used in racing back then.. you don't need ABS, you just need to spend some time with the crazy two stroke

You're killing the engine, by keeping at max rev , Keep it in the rev band and quickly upshift to higher gear,Thats how you ride and down shift are more fun in 2 storke , As rear will either lock up Or step out Yes on hard braking while accelerating hard you need good brake, super skill and God to be with you to stop as desired. I had many close calls while doing so. Ridden following 2 strokes, Yezdi classic, Roadking, Rx100, Supra, AX100, Max100, RD350, Samurai, KB100RTZ ( my favorite)owned Shogun ( Crazy mid range & top end) .
