It's great to see an OG, a musician that was THERE in the 70's and used to carry the heavy keyboards do the gigs and experiment w/ shaping sounds with pedals etc do a demo and enjoy this little Reface CP. It's funny how a lot of young guys like the old stuff and a lot of old guys like the new stuff.

I think it's probably because we grew up with the current technology, and we want to experience what they had to offer back in the 70s and 80s. Same for the old guys, they want to know what its like to use the newer technology

For an old "back in the day musician", like myself, who owned a number of Rhodes, etc, and has the bad back as to prove it, this little keyboard would be great for gigging. I'd like to try one with a good piano action keyboard controller.

5:23. Even the Yamaha rep moves right past the Toy Piano with barely a mention. No historical context, no discussion of its value, just, "there's a toy piano" and here's a short sample so people don't say I skipped it. LMAO! Seriously Yamaha, what were you thinking? You only include six official sounds in a profession instrument, and you use up a whole one on a sound no professional has ever asked for or is likely to ever ask for.
@richardharris97083 жыл бұрын
I don't own one yet but apparently combined with the effects, the toy piano can sound pretty interesting. I agree though, the toy piano should have been the hidden instrument rather than the grand piano.
