Yamaha RX-A6A Unboxing

This is really an outstanding receiver. I just bought mine 2 weeks ago. I don't think this unit is meant for the average user. many who have no audio background can find this unit a bit complex to set up. But the A6A is really the same as the A8A. Both can process 11.2 channels. the UK version is heavier than the US version. mine weighs 48 pounds. you can tell a good quality receiver even today by its weight. the Power supply alone weighs like 15 pounds. In real test results, this unit is better than the Marantz AV10 with is priced at $7000. you're good to go for at least 10 years. I also switched from a 1997 Onkyo TX-DS838. still working. but time to upgrade.
