Best way to check voltage regulators is to probe them for voltage at power up. You get just enough time to see if they are stable or if they are acting strange. Some regulators will not fail short so it's best to take them out and test them or test them in circuit.

You didn't check the PROTECTION HISTORY at the beginning to know the possible failure problem, so how did you confirm that the STK433 needs to be replaced? And you measured the voltage regulator to confirm that they are all normal? I have a rx-v3067=(rx-a3000) display PS2-PRT 174, abnormal voltage, also trying to repair...

if you get half a second at startup check the voltage regulator board and each regulator for stability. Some old caps can cause regulators to fail. Some Yamaha models have no access to diagnostics, it depends on the age. You can get the datasheet for the amplifier modules and test them for shorts once you know the pin out. Thankfully they stopped using modules and went back to transistors before and after a certain date

At tingnan kung may masamang amplifier transistors, preamplifier transistors o masamang amplifier modules.
