cbz introduced 150, bt the craze ws started by mighty pulsar. its grown old, bt it ruled... people dreamt of it.. it needs a makeover with refined engine and transmission

Brother motorcycles are a important medium of commutation in India and not just something used for fun. Not every one owns a car in India although car ownership has definitely improved in last decade. In developed countries most people use car for commutation and motorcycles are only for fun.

@ sohitv - These things DO matter in the third-world. I'm sure there are GSXRs and Ninjas in India, as there are in the Philippines. The Hayabusa, for instance, costs 849,000 philippine pesos, which is enough to afford us a car. The average Filipino would go for a car instead. You're probably American, or British.

why not apache?.. its fastest, quickest, nimble in city traffic, size as good as fz.... only cuz it looks stunning (which i personally feel is not the case), why shell out 5 grands extra. ok..fz is stable at hi speeds on corners but till 70 even apache is well rooted tackling corners..however, how often do u get a chance for that in the city? i rode bot and felt apache to be ore responsive on throttle front and the control only R15 can beat.

They already have those bikes,but too expensive. These are bikes for an average person with average income. Where I live, Vietnam, you use the A1 driver's license to use bikes from 175cc down. From 175cc and up, you need the A2 license. A2 is harder to get, cost a lot of money. So I think it's smart for them to make these bikes so they could get a higher amount of buyers than the high powered bikes in Asia.

@jack5980 ur rong...i own a fzs and my brother owns a rtr180..both purchased on the same freakin day..so no arguments of old or used up engines...and i must say...i had a vast lead on a 3km drag wid the bike...fz rapes rtr ass anyday... ill even add to it by sayin after i put in a filter and tuned the bike even a pulsar 220 was eatin my dust..:)

Do you think they make such puny bikes in india for no reason ? atleast we can carry it on our shoulders and walk in dead traffic jams :P and yea, ive heard tomboys ride bikes too.

india needs to get rid of these kinda bikes and bring in the real sport bikes......like the suzuki gsxr, yamaha r1, kawasaki ninja...........come on india grow up...
