Hi What kind( brand) of long cord did you use your stagepas? They recommend that use the speaker cable inside in it. So, i worry that if i use the other cable, something would wrong in my power mixer. Mind is 600i stagepas. I have the same issue like you. I need long speaker cable. Thanks

I bought a 50' Hosa cable. I don't think anything would go wrong with the mixer but, just make sure it's a quarter inch to quarter inch cable. I love the people at sweetwater.com great customer service there, that's where I bought mine

Is the effects unit any good, because the reverb in the 300 series is utter shite.

You bought an expensive 50ft. cable when all you really needed was a cheap extension cord!? Most of us who play out like to have the power unit/mixer close to us so we can adj the eq between songs if needed and the wall outlet is never where you need it to be so most of us carry a good but relatively inexpensive (compared to a 50' speaker cable) extension cord. In any business venture, ALWAYS look for the most cost effective solution! In this case the extension cord accomplishes 4 objectives a) it solves the issue you mentioned in your video and b) it puts the mixer where it's handy for adjustments which will in turn... c) improving your live performance ! And, d) it costs less $!! NOTE: (kind of a no-brainer, but...) Also invest in a decent multi-outlet surge protector as you'll likely have other gizmos that require electricity near where you'll be setting.

Thanks for the thoughts! That solution doesn't work for me. Sounds like you're a musician and that works great for you. As a magician I move around on stage and want my stage clean looking so I sound check preshow then keep my tech equipment off stage. Thanks for the thoughts.

Peter Boie Ah, the flash II. darn, I should have known. I bought the form factor looked familiar. The Taiwan lightning is super sweet, and slick as snot. Used to be for sale on Amazon. I bought them for my dad and bros. it's mystery steel, but fun all day.
