Erin has a really nice sound, she makes all those saxes sound very nice. I could make them all sound bad really easily.

Erin made each of the horns sing. She's quite a player and her sound pulls the listener into the music. Before I knew it I was foot tapping and knee slapping to her beat. Nice sound. Oh yeah and the horns were nice too!

Conclusion? I think YTS280 has a smooth sounding around the edges as compared to the rest

It is amazing how close the 26 is to both the obviously incredible sounding 280 and 62. The player had a lot to do with this; beautifully performed. However, I listened over n over, eyes closed. The STUDENT 26, is VERY close. IMO

The three models can deliver high quality tone in the proper hands. Tonal differences are subtle and none of the three is better or worse than the others, decision is more related to personal preferences than the audio "quality".

Very good initiative. I only think that the microphone must be more closer from the sax for a better sound capture. Thank you 🙂

@@Matthew-bp5de well it looks prettier and is more adjustable. Sound-wise, there's really nothing in it.

The 280 with a 62 neck upgrade is an excellent horn.

great playing, but the 62 is a professional horn

Conclusion: mouthpiece, reed and player are the most influential contributors to sound...

D2 sounds a tad thin on all the horns; maybe a quirk of the mouthpiece.....

Could you write down the weight of each saxophone? Its very important to me. And also, what about the YTS-480? I saw a lot of recommendation on this sax. Thanks.
@costelx4 Жыл бұрын
The heavier a sax is, the more tone has the sound. It's pure physics...

Unfortunately, I found her excessive bobbing and weaving, and her arm flapping, distracting.
