I have not watched one of your videos in a while. Your English speaking voice is clear and calming..your editing and writing makes jobs like this easier for all of us. And your proper use of tools is another example of doing things right. I can only wish that you would have made how to videos of every motorcycle problem that I have experienced..great job as always keep it up

Just ordered my Yamaha Ténéré 700 in Ceramic Ice blue today - whoopee! I had a very hard time tracking one down here in the UK. Apparently, they're thin on the ground due to supply problems because of COVID-19, and the Ever Given debacle in the Suez Canal. That container ship has now been impounded by the Suez Canal Authority, so it can pursue salvage costs from the owner. The Rally Edition is non-existent, there are no new ones available anywhere. I was told that some maybe available at the end of the year, but no one really seems to know what's happening. Anyway, got to sell my old bike, the Ténéré 700 is due anytime soon!

Congrats! Had a tough time over here in the US too with getting both the Ténéré 700 and the OEM accessories. The accessories should (in theory...) be a little easier to sort in Europe since they are all made there! :-) Good Luck and Enjoy!

@@orbsurfer8195 Apparently, there are a lot of Yamaha parts on the impounded Ever Given container ship, and it's affecting the supply of some bikes, such as the Tracer. The dealer said the Ténéré 700 has its final assembly and checks in a hub in France, and then are shipped out to dealers around Europe. Looks like it's going to be a few months before things start to get back to normal. 👍

@@orbsurfer8195 My Ceramic Ice Yamaha Ténéré 700 was delivered very early on Thursday, 20th May 2021, it looked fantastic in the morning light coming out of the van. I've been riding around, taking it easy mostly, and getting used to it - what a bike! 😃 👍

Thank you for another great/informative video. I have to wonder how much ground clearance you lose with a center stand. I had to lower my bike a bit as the good lord didn't bless me with long legs so I want to maintain as much ground clearance as is possible.

Do you know the size of the longest bolts and nuts that attach underneath with the two black cylinder shaped pieces? Sadly, the mechanics at the shop who i bought the bike from over torqued these parts and one of the bolts stripped while trying to remove it.
