This guy has the best use of a Floyd Rose I have ever seen. Really unique. Similar to a pitch bend on a synth.

Jeff Beck...
@kma56996 жыл бұрын
I was going to say Jeff Beck too. Only thing is Jeff Beck does the stuff like this guy is doing but on a standard non-locking vintage strat style trem
@sinane.y6 жыл бұрын
Yeah but he also has roller nut which helps with keeping the guitar in tune. However, I remember reading about someone (it might have been Keith Richards) picking up Beck's guitar after a show and saying how it was horribly out of tune. Then Beck picks it, and plays perfectly in tune. Apparently for this guy the frets are not a limit, he can find the right notes by bending and using the trem. Impressive to say the least.

I have 30 + yrs experience and this is by far the best small practice amp I have used . If you mic it properly it will gig just fine !

Wow , very creative guitar player. Love this playing style. I don't know if this is intentional, but off an on, in many little areas of his playing I hear some Joe Satriani at times and a little Steve Via here and there. Maybe it's the way his fretting fingers softly attack the strings. Saucy playing. Much enjoyed. And also that Yamaha little amp, I'm getting hooked on it. I have heard the distortion side and it sounds great for being so small. Thanks so much for the upload. Very helpful. Also how much is the amp ??

Come on, lmao!!!!!! Such a sound out of such a tiny box, Yamaha must be raking it in with these. First thing I thought right off the bat what wow, nails Satriani's sound and I have a JVM410JHS. What's great about this is the ports and the USB stereo tracking ability, plus your not going to piss the neighbors. Awesome playing, shockwave supernova should sound great on this. Any info on a link for the backing track for this demo? Going to the store tomorrow and getting this, thanks Yamaha

RuspurSaysGrrrr I'd love to have one of those guitars, or any true temperament fretted guitar, like Denander's VGS... or even Holdsworths Strandberg. I have always hated the fact that guitars can never be in tune ,...... ... until now, but retailers just don't seem to stock them in my country! especially Strandbergs! [I'm in England] and to top it all my legs don't work so getting about internationally is extremely difficult.

Well at least someone out here in youtube land can show it doesnt have to be an all out balls to the wall gain monster amp. I bought it because I preferred the sound of it compared to the 10 or the 10c, not because I wanted a djent machine. I actually detest the sound of EMG 81 bridge pickups. their alnico ones are alright though. A good trick is if you get a guitar with an 81 and an 85, buy a 60A, put that in the neck and swap the 85 to the bridge. and sell the 81 on craigslist to recoup some of your money.

Jamming on mine right now. Wish he showed the settings! This thing does certain things...like this...real well. Hard to get it right jamming with stuff, how shall I say, less balls to the walls? You can get great solo stuff. It seems to force you to the designed algo no matter how you tweak it. I needed a box in front for single coils (multibucker) and after about a dozen I settled on my favorite...metal muff. In the studio next to real stuff costing several thou. you can't compare, but in the park watching the dog run around and jamming with an mp3 player...all on batteries? Just nothing better for that I know of! Oh...I want those fretts!!!!!!!!!!!
@RasCuban339 жыл бұрын
+TheDogpa At 1:04 you can kinda see from the reverb all the way to the gain knob, treb mid & bass are all at 12o'clock, master vol is a little passed 3o'clock and you can slightly see fading out the gain is at about 1 or 2o'clock. Going to have to play with the amp model setting. The trickiest thing is getting all those harmonics out, on his site he describes how to manipulate bending the tremolo bar in order to sustain the harmonics, also finding them all on every string across the fret board. He's keeping me busy, lol Nuff Respect Mattias IA Eklundh!!!!!! Yes, those frets are bad ass
