Yes thats true same here like in Brunei alot of tmax and only sad honda brunei doesn’t bring in X Adv in 😅😅😅 I used Xadv blong to my friend in KL it is such fun can go off road not like my tmax 😅😅😅

Haha! Great review. I have a 1200GS but just bought a Forza 300 for nipping to the shops to buy Babycham and cottonwool buds! :) Having a GS I'm used to bikers not nodding so no problem on Scooty McScooter! Vroooom!

Frankly I don't care what friends and neighbours think, I've just sold my 'manly' Honda ST1300, am currently on a PCX150 and will be getting a TMAX 530 (560 is still too pricey) for longer trips. I no longer want to wrestle a heavy bike with gears and clutch, I want to enjoy my riding.

Great tongue in cheek review. The European popularity hasn’t rubbed off in the UK either. There’s still a stigma surrounding scooters. I think it’s because comparatively more 2 wheelers are used for fun rather than as practical machines.

I have an Xmax 300 as well. Honestly the best thing for commuting if you don´t want/ can´t afford a car. The only thing I miss is a bit more power and a manual gearbox. I was used to my 44hp bike so the bar isn´t set too high. I think the Forza 750 would be EXCELLENT for me. You got the best of both worlds: Great comfort and weather protection along with serious power and the lovely DCT so you can shift yourself if you want.

@@Watson2108 I cannot be trusted - always wanted to try the Honda NC700D Integra but thought them far too heavy and cumbersome, BUT, I did buy one unseen/untried ( long story ) and so pleased I did, the best thing I've ever done with bikes. Handling is truly a delight, you can ride at 2mph with no wobbling, it came with two side panniers plus top box plus the underseat ares so trumps any scooter there is. Oh, and unlimited power, gear changes are so special, fuel is 75 mpg, it really should be called the Honda Dream!!!

Tks for the "negative" review. You are right. When I approached MAWC to indicate that we at the Cape Town Maxi Scooter Association plan to wear colours their answer was that scooters are not bikes and that we are not bikers as we swing our legs through and not over.... therefore we cannot wear colours. Not that it bothers me much as who elected them as a reputable body anyway. I have more news for them. I've been a biker for over 40 years and now choose to ride a Maxi Scooter for all the reasons you so rightly pointed out. We all love our Maxi Scooters and most bikers accept us into the community.... apart from the "real men" off course. By the way, at age 60 I can still swing the leg over and I do so especially when many bikers are present .... lol. Tks for a good honest review.

Love your review mate. I'm in the UK and I had a 650 Burgman, about 10 years ago and it was hoot to ride. Once you've ridden a big scooter, you won't take the P any longer.

And no it's not getting older it's all about risk and life balance for me. Scooters are so cool a d totally weird compared to a motorbike but excellent for short or long road work since I no longer an to drag a knee or break 250 on public roads any more. Might live a lot longer too

Same here,had Hayabusa, gsxr and many others.Tmax has that usable power to have fun on the road and not exceed 200+ speeds. I have a good exp on motorcycles and seen what happend to others too,doesnt matter how skillful you are on the road,speed is speed,keep pushing 200+ and you become a statistic number,sooner or later.

People have no idea how impressive this machine is,and will put many bikes to shame in a sprint, where I live I have to use the M4 for work, and when joining the M4 at junction 17,on the slip road, I can easily reach speeds up to 110 miles per hour before I've even got on the motorway!!.. and the comfort and practicality and the extras you get on the Tech Max!!! well !! it's all amazing!.. I better stop before I end up writing a book👍🏽👍🏽😂

If this bike ever makes it to the states, I’d buy two. I’ve sold my Ducati.. I’ve sold my Roadglide.. I now ride around on a Burgman 400. I would love to step up another 100cc (or more) for added passing power on mountains and freeways. But alas, there’s just nothing being sold out here in the states. Wish I liked the Kymco AK550. C’mon, Yamaha!! Send us this bike!

I have been considering the T-Max and came across your video. The attitude of motorcyclists here in England is the same as SA. My mates have said they'd shun me if I bought a scooter. Maybe if I get one and leave them in my wake they might change their minds? Or more likely they'll be too embarrassed to ride out with me any more 😁. Great video, have subscribed to your channel.
