I owned three Tmax scooters over the years. 2004 Tmax 500, 2018 Tmax 530 and 2020 Tmax 560. Still have the 2004 Tmax 500. The later bikes unfortunately are like modern cars are not reliable as the older models, too many gimmicks which give issues. I moved the later two on due reliability issues that the so call professionals could not resolve and great expense. Buyer beware! These bikes are very expensive to maintain and service due the the twin overhead cam designs, and of course, all the plastic that as to come off which invariably gets damaged by over zealous mechanics in a hurry to get out the door! I now own a Xmax 300 2023 model, it’s so reliable, just as capable for long and short journeys. These videos don’t explain the messy side of large scooter pitfalls, as I just explained, buyer beware……

Looks like a great handling bike, but for the same reason I will not get a Gold Wong is way to much crap on it. I want simple and easy to use. Was think it would be a nice scooter till I seen this and all the crap on it. If they made a simpler one I would love to have one. But will go for the Suzuki Burgman 400 old school and that is the way I and many others like it. Had a Yamaha 400 Majesty and loved it, but not fussy about there new 300 Xmax. I do like ABS and Traction Control but other than that they can keep the rest of that other stuff. A throttle lock might be a plus, but no need for cruse control.

What's different about this CVT scooter is its external drive belt. Most, but not all other scooters with this transmission have fully enclosed belts. I do wonder if road dirt gets between the belt and the pulleys? Other points I noticed: too high a price, don't get the sports pack with its ineffective noisy windscreen, small, distant mirrors. Plus points: comfortable seat, responsive throttle. Will appeal to millionaire commuters!

That would be great, much appreciated. Over the years I have bought six Kymco motorcyles. The engines are bullet-proof. The machines are reliable and the prices are much cheaper than the Honda and Yamaha equivelents. What's not to like. Keep up the good work reviewing motorcycles. Thank you, Des

Last time,2y ago your video convinced me( I was already cooked,but you review put the chery on top of my decision) into purchasing of Yamaha tricity 300.. that was a good decission! I've been using this beautiful machine almost every day and used it for longer journeys as well. Now..I am looking this Tmax review..same like before I purchased Tricity 300...I like Tmax...I like your review...should I change? Ohhh man... I will unsubscribe from your channel!! You are costing me money;) Safe riding, and keep doing great reviews like you do...

You sound like me in New Zealand. I have had a Tricity 300 for 2 years and am now getting my motorcycle licence at 60 so the Techmax looks like it might be my next daily driver.

So, for adjusting the windshield, grip and seat heating, you must enter the menu, and locate the icons on the TFT? Wow! This is nuts! A true ”ergonomic” and very ”safe” solution. Instead of paying attention to riding and just reach with thumbs to a button or switch, you have to stare into the dash and navigate through menu. And this is what it offers the most expensive scooter. IMO it is crap.
