That was a fun ride out, will have to try the Redbeck cafe now I know about it as it's only 27 miles from me. Cheers Paul, ride safe :) I had my Versys seat done by Tony too and a great job he did of it and the price was very reasonable.

I added a "sport" screen to my Multistrada V2S because of extreme noise with the stock screen. It's much better now almost naked. Why can't the manufacturers design better wind flow or offer more options?

I agree, why can't they! The tracer was truly shocking with the stock screen to the point it just had to go. It's much better with the shorter screen, and it looks better in my opinion.

@@paulkiley4667 I went higher and then lower. Massive buffeting with "touring" screens. Better low. I think I bought around eight or 10 screens for that bike and it's still not enjoyable. They are stacked up in my storage unit.

@@edwardsenesac I tried the adjustable extender on mine, it was a right pain keeping on adjusting it. In the end I just chucked the towel in altogether and just fitted the shorter screen. The airflow is night and day different and makes the bike much more enjoyable.

Airflow is difficult with most ADV bikes. The windscreen is typically a long way from the rider, which makes buffeting common. I found a Givi screen that works pretty well on my VStrom, but in warmer weather it works too well. The original low factory screen allows more air, but also more noise. I’ve found it’s more comfortable with no screen at all.

@@alvindavenport5657 many have tried the Givi or Madstad I think it was for the tracer. Both apparently seem to work well. Personally I haven't tried either so I can't comment. I do like the look of the Puig sports screen though and the airflow is much better. It's that age old problem of adding a screen to pretty much any bike and it introduces turbulent air. Personally I'm preferring no screen or very short screens these days 👍
