@@lui1760 I am very hand! I learned a lot when working on my old turbo g35 coupe. I traded a paper clip all the way to the bike haha. Im making a little tiktok series about it lol. But super stoked to have it and put the carbs on and get it ready for next season. Will be my first time on a bike!!

Hello, thanks for your video, i have a 97 virago XV750 with only 2000km, previous owner said that the carb has a boring leaking, do you have any idea where should i start from?
@lui17604 жыл бұрын
Hey, if you remove carbs, check the diaphragms for ANY sized hole on the rubber. That can be a problem. Once you check that, you can also check floats and needles. You may need to adjust floats by leveling them with the seam of the carb. Also, the tang. Allowing the needle valve to move 1mm-2mm max. For best fuel flow.
@lui17604 жыл бұрын
Use carb cleaner to blow through ALL passages and compressed air, gently, since it’s a small carb. Once all that is done, you may have to check your butterfly shaft seals. Those are a little trickier to get to and replace.

on the left part of the bike under the chrome cover what is it ? I have the same bike and I dont have all that. is it some kind of air filter ? thank you ! 5:18
@lui1760 Жыл бұрын
That’s for emissions. If you’re in the US, that’s no longer needed. Something less to check if bike goes down

Matteo Boccarella you want just the kit I showed on the video or needles, diaphragms, etc?

lui ochoa I have Hitachi carburetors! and I have problems because a carburetor empties the tank and does not send gasoline to a cylinder!
@lui17604 жыл бұрын
Matteo Boccarella might have to remove them and clean them from top to bottom. Remove the tubes and everything. Could be dirty inlets, stuck floats, or clogged jets

@@kunjidee they’re a pain in the butt!! That’s for sure haha. If you do remove them, you might have a hard time.. once you take them off a couple times, it gets easier. If you’re planning to keep the bike, I can direct you to BETTER carbs. They’re pricey tho. About $3-600
