The frame is much cleaner without the extra tabs. I also like the use of chapters. Well done!

Great video again Bruce. Always love that you share your knowledge in the builds but also the tools you use. Thanks, stay well.

Love the video. First watch of your content and it’s gonna keep my looking for updates. I’m an XS owner (first bike). Did this similar frame clean up, glad to know I did things partially correct. Looking forward to see what you else you do.

Hi Joe, thanks for watching my video. I’m editing the next one which is about replacing the cush springs on the clutch basket. I couldn’t find much information on this so I’m hoping people will find it informative. I’d love to see a picture of your bike. These XS650s really are a lot of fun.

Thanks for the video. I plan to do something like this also. Did you end up narrowing the frame at all?

That 'piece' you don't like , does add strength to the frame... Dave NZ

I absolutely agree, it does add some strength. When we a making modifications we need to consider strength, power, clearance and of course, style. Being the engine will be stock and I’m really not trying to build a performance oriented machine I’m okay sacrificing the structural strength of that piece. Thanks very much for your comment and for watching my video, I appreciate it.
