Those turn signals are WAY better than the OEM floppy alien eyes. I like the replacement headlight from brough motorcycle. It’s about 1/4 the thickness and LED. I think it’s like $200 for the whole thing. Nice looking bike!

I think you forgot to mention that you took of the passenger foot pedals. I think it‘s a great mod since it makes the rear/subframe look so open and clean.

Back over here (UK) we wouldn’t get away with a number plate tucked under there. As for mods, I spent my hard earned on upgrading my suspension, fully adjustable K-Tech front a rear, it transformed the bike to a new level of handling. Still got mine 4 years on 💪😎

Sweet bike man! how did you spray paint the side silver grill. Did you take the fairing off or just duct taped around it? Also do you have a light for the license plate?

Thank you! Yes, I just took that small panel off, taped off the outside, sprayed the grill. The plate kit does come with a light. Can't see it very well during the day, but it's there.

StreetRodAZ Awesome! Very straightforward install. The only thing you might need to do is to snip off the little nubs that hold the throttle cable box together, as well as the and ignition switch box. You’ll see what I mean. Just trim those off and you’re good to go.

Hello! That is correct. The stock controls have small nubs that fit into holes on the factory bars. I just clipped off the nubs, never had a problem. You can run a small strip of duct tape under the controls for more grip, but not necessary. Thanks for watching!

Very nice bike. I have the Forest Green model and I'm thinking on doing some of the things you did (removing passenger pegs, LED bulbs for headlamp and indicators) Which LED bulbs did you go for? The H4 fanless with 4,000 lumens? If so, are the internal drivers necessary? Thanks!

Thanks for watching! No drilling or modding at all. The small nubs that hold the throttle box and brake master cylinder box onto the bars can be snipped off so that they fit flush. Some people will drill small holes to accommodate those, but not necessary.

JJackMoto appreciate the tips! And excuse the 21 questions. But did you notice increased vibration after mounting the pro taper bar and removing the bar ends? I have similar amazon mirrors but circular. I’m noticing much more vibration with the new bar. And i can’t find any heavy bar ends that would fit the 13mm inner diameter. Our stock ones weighed about 5.3oz each.

With the Carmichale bars did you have to get new bar clamps? Revzilla site says "Requires use of 1-1/8" bar clamp, not compatible with standard 7/8" clamps." and I'm a bit concerned.

@Rob Zilla I have the Carmichael bend. They are one of the lower bend options, if not the lowest. The ride is definitely more aggressive, but not uncomfortable. The handling is superb. The width really let’s you flick this thing around. One of my favorite mods by far!

Ivan Sama Keep in mind the bars I have are ProTaper Contour, so they will have a wider diameter at the end. The factory bars may need some drilling out to fit.

Nope, not at all. I guess you could if you wanted to in order to accommodate the little tabs that hold the throttle cable and signal/light boxes in place, but I just sanded those off and ran one loop of duct tape around the bar to help with grip. Worked like a charm.

I already had the Flasher relay installed for my turn signals from TST Industries. No additional mod needed. I actually recently changed my light completely to the Koso naked option from Brogue. Check that vid out if you get a minute.

@@chrisskinner636 No need to hide anything. The flasher relay replaces the factory relay found under the forward cover on the clutch side of the bike. Takes about 10 minutes.

Chris Skinner No worries! The small cover that hides a bit of electronics, including the relay. It’s right under the gas tank, under the Yamaha label on the clutch side. You’ll see a small set of cooling fins poking through. I think it’s 3 or 4 screws that hold it on.

It's definitely a little torque monster, right at 50 lb-ft at 6500 rpm, whereas the 900 is right around 65 lb-ft at 8500. They both have plenty of power for me. Thanks for watching!

Phily Great choice! The 900 is incredibly touchy almost the entire power band. I love this bike, and you really can’t beat the sound of that crossplain twin. With the low bars, I can see much better. Once you get used to them being lower, it’s hard to go back. Check out my drive by vid if you haven’t already. Thanks again!

Phily Keep in mind, these mirrors fit the inside diameter of these pro taper dirt bars, but I think you may need to alter the inside of the stock bars for them to fit.

Tal Bar Honestly, I use the Rizoma knock offs from Amazon. I believe they’re around $35, brand is kemimoto. Rizomas are around $95. Keep in mind I have them mounted on Pro Taper Contour bard which have a wider inside diameter.

These motors are quite noisy in general, so a bit of a tick is totally normal. If it gets to where it sounds irregular you may want to check it out. My exhaust masks most of those noises.

Aww dude you've sold the bike, I only just found your channel as well - and to make things worse it seems two brothers have extended the mid pipe for that exhaust so now it pokes further out rather than nice n snug like yours was (going by what iv'e seen in other installs) bit of a deal breaker for me - Nice car though, will keep an eye out see what you do with it!!

Only thing I don't like on mine is the big ugly headlight (like most owners) & the side panels. The jvb panels are nice, tie the tank & seat area together, but silly money... so I can live with it as it is. Great bikes though 🤗

I put dna air box power commander m4 exhaust and dropped a tooth on front sprocket and up two on rear she’s a wheelie ride now

Found a vid of a guy that did 3 runs. 4.06 sec was his fastest and he said he thinks there's a spec somewhere that says 3.8 sec. There's one other bike I was considering, the Royal Enfield gt650 until I learned the 0-60 time I found was not correct at around 4sec but actually up around 6.5 sec which makes sense considering hp numbers for these bikes. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aX_KnICBdt6AlbM

If u rode that bike in Ireland no back mudguard u would be distroyed

Good to know next time I ship my bike over to Ireland for a quick ride ;)
