Sold shortly after this went up. Defo one of the bikes i could buy back again, it was so nice. The sound was phenomenal in person.
After an hour my back would be sore but thats not the end of world. It does well sitting at 70mph on motorway. Parts are cheap and easy to get hold of. Easy to maintain due to great design.
Tonnes of torque. Looks great, sounds great, went great. Loved it!

It is a gem and it is underated definately. Was great fun to own and sounded lovely but on long distance it was lil bit of a back breaker im gonna have to say and it fails here.

Does it lose power with 2 to 1? considering going with that to get little weight off :)

Hi i know you've not got the bike anymore. . I have one and love it to bits apart from the random cutting out at junctions . . . Did your bike do this? Would any of the power commander products solve it. Thankyou

It's a well known thing of this bike doing that. It's rough and ploppy at idle and crawl. Yes the power commander and autotune when installed smoothed it out and sorted that issue on this bike :)

@@FrilledNeckDragonUK It's more the stalling at junctions . . . This is what needs to be cured. . . Did you have that issue?

@@coco-te1op If your gonna keep the bike it's worth doing. They do make bike run better definitely. I couldn't say if it will fix your issue as not sure exactly why it's happening but get a proper garage to instal all the kit and get your bike running right. Good luck :)

@@Jaapst Personally I loved it but technology and comfort has come a long way since 2005. Now on a Tiger 900GTPro 21 plate and its a whole other level of motoring. I am glad I moved the Yamaha on but I do look back at my time with it with a smile. You need to find what works for you buddy. Best advise I could give it to and take other bike your thinking of for a couple hours test ride from a dealer. Get a real good feel for it ;)

what does the autotune do, is it needed when using a power commander or can I use the power commander without autotune?

The autotune helps in adjusting air and fuel, for bikes that use the fuel injection technology. An auto tuner monitors the performance of a motorcycle and constantly tunes the air and fuel ratio to an ideal capacity, hence allowing excellent full delivery and optimum performance of your motorcycle.

It all depends on what you want out of it you can use different maps, etc. Smoothness of power, hp, torque, fuel efficiency, etc. If your gonna keep it then invest in it ;)

The Dynojet Power Commander is a fuel management system for your bike that helps the rider get the best performance of their machine. The Power Commander is like an electronic jet kit that helps to optimize the fuel to air ratio in the bike for smoother throttle response, and in some cases, torque and horsepower gains. In combo with the autotune i find the mpg is absolutely great i get great Mpg plus this bike without it can been very lumpy at lo revs and filtering but with them on its as smoth as a thumper can get really ;)

Sold ages ago when I originally posted this. Left it on as was such a nice bike worth looking XD beast. I'd buy it back actually miss it :( power commander totally worth it for this bike
