Great looking bikes. If you are a two stroke guy, you might consider a Ktm 300. I'm an 80's guy myself. I have an 88 rm250 I'm restoring and a 85 yz250 that's in good condition. I bought a 2018 Ktm 300 new and it is a great bike. Thanks for sharing the video, I love seeing the old machines in good shape.

Brian Hardy thanks for the compliment and your appreciation, us old horses need to keep these babies alive. Ile consider the KTM I had a Polaris outlaw 525 quad with the KTM engine and it was scary fast.

I have a 250wr same thing not nearly as nice of course but watch that chain on the wider tire it’ll slap it if it gets too loose

how big is it compared to the Suzuki, or even compared to modern bikes?

I have a '89 YZ250WR almost as nice as yours, but with a few extra go fast mods. This bike will do everything better than my 2009 Honda CRF250X will do. Lighter, faster, I feel more at ease riding the Yamaha. Goes to show that the old bikes can go fast, and sometimes faster than the newer ones.
