Yamaha YZF R125 Review!

I still miss ragging about my r125, loved it in race blue, spent ages saving up to buy it new and it was my first ever bike and my pride and joy, I really want to have a go on one again as such a fun bike!

They were with the kit lens as well, I've bought a 50mm lens after that but haven't tried it out much. Also my tripod is like £30 and its like 30 years old (no joke) so not that smooth tbh :/

Just put a deposit down for a 09 yzf r125 from a dealer I can't wait wanted this bike for ever but have to wait till April when I turn 17. Btw loving the videos would love to meet and ride sometime when I get my new bike only about an hour and a half away from you :)

Depends what you're after. If you don't mind an older bike because of the preferred look of dash, or other styling then absolutely go for it 👍🏼

Hey Dan Have you ever considered buying a Aprilia RS or a 2-stroke 125cc motorcycle instead of Yamaha? Couse' I'm about to get my license and I just can't make up my mind about this two... So what do you say an Aprilia RS 125 or a Yamaha YZF R125? Thanks and an awesome review man ;)

+RidingWith APS just a heads up on the aprilia rs 125, my mate had one and it was a nightmare, no where near as smooth as a r125 and the reliability was shocking, we'd go for a ride and every time we'd stop somewhere it was a struggle just to get his bike started, I'd go for the yamaha just for the reliability and I think a lot of people will agree it's the best 125

+Shamus Mahmood Yeah I heard Aprilia has some flaws but I'm not going for the power of the bike I more like the bike to have alot of mpg and sound must be awesome... So yeah I'll probably go for the yzf r125. It's just an awesome stylish little 125 can't say much more. Thanks for the comment!

Yeah a bit. But i was thinkin clutchless upshift to 2nd and yank the handle bars lol..

Shane Bobon clutch in, full revs, drop clutch, apply steady throttle and use back brake👍🏻if you don't know already 😂

how's the gearbox, and overall smoothness of the bike compared to the cbf 125? (you had a cbf 125 back then, right?! or am i confusing you with someone else?)

+Multi3dmaster Correct I did, and I can't really remember how smooth the gearbox was on that bike, I just remember it was a really easy forgiving bike. But the gear box on this is pretty damn nice, as long as you treat it well :p

Looks so much bigger and better than what most 125cc, could easily pass for a bigger bike! I want one so bad, maybe the girls will look at me and be like ... 😍
