The one which I ride is most certainly different in manufacture. -36-40km/L average on highway. -ABS. -Indicator always off unless I turn them on. -Only left head light pops up when you hit the engine on. -Never had heat up problem in super hot summer in brisbane, Australia The one you have is definitely different from. The only objection I have so far is its rear brake pad which is short and my foot slips quite sometimes which is annoying.

Tank pads aka grip pads are to grip your bike better while riding and also during cornering they aren't there for protection in fact. But one can say they can be used for protection too.
