How is it possible, that the new fresh SX920 does not have an audio interface onboard? Even much more cheaper models have it! Nonsense

Ich habe einen modx und eine yc... Dennoch würde ich mir niemals ein sx920 zulegen. In der 2500 € Klasse weder Aftertouch noch Audiointerface. Was bringen sa-voices wenn die wichtigste tastenartikulation der Aftertouch fehlt ... Das alles wäre mir wichtiger wie zb die HDMI schnittstelle

The SX series is primary made for home entertainment. That's why they don't have the finest keybeds and aftertouch, same as the MoDX is a poor man's Montage with practical the same sound at less than half of the price. I fully agree that as just a semi pro user, aftertouch and other advanced functions like the ability to actually create your own sounds, not just adjust a simple filter and some EQ and combine 4 different presets is a limitation that even the top Genos line miss. The Aftertouch is in the Genos together with the much better FSX keybed. But Yamaha need to move away from early 80's and 90's ideas of that Arrangers only have preset sounds. Yamaha's closest competitors have found out that this is Key thing that the little more pro users really want, without giving you a full blown synthesizer build-in At least give those that are interested in this a way to do it via software and give us the possibilities to load in DX sysex sounds. I don't expect a full blown FMX Synth or mind to use one of the software FM synths to actually program the base FM sounds, as long as I can load it into the Genos 2. A full bank of 32 sounds only take up a few kilobytes. Stop being cheesy about this and give us the full synth, not just the basic 32 factory sounds. I have tons of my own favorite edits from the 80's and 90's that I can load into both a Montage or ModX, or myKronos that I have used these a lot for and tailor the sounds there. And the effect sections that we didn't have on the original DX instruments is plentiful in the Genos to make the sounds sound like having a Full equipped TX816 and several external effect processors.
