You know what really drives me crazy about Yamaha drums? They're totally clueless about what customers want. Case in point: The one up, two down drum configuration is one of the most popular out there right now, yet there isn't a single pre packaged kit in that configuration. Not even in the Stage Custom line. Why is it ALWAYS 10/12/16/22? Every great once in a while you can find a pre pack with a 20" kick but otherwise, it's always the same. Would it kill Yamaha to offer a 13/14/16/24 or something similar instead of always making people have to buy a component drum they need because the pre pack kit didn't come with what they wanted? But to be fair to Yamaha, it's not just them. For some reason they all seem to think bass drums have to be 18" deep and apparently NOBODY uses 13 or 15 inch toms.
